GOD’S PERFECT DESIGN
God has a design for our lives. We see God’s design all around us: in the beauty of creation and in the unique creation of our own bodies. The Bible says God knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139). God personally designed us and has a purpose for our lives.
A BROKEN WORLD
Unfortunately, we can’t experience God’s perfect design because we live in a sin-broken world. We see evidence of this everywhere – in every crime, in sickness, and even in death. These all are results of sin. Our own sin takes us all to a place of brokenness. We try fixing our brokenness by focusing on other things such as careers, wealth, pleasure or other things. But all this just leads to more brokenness.
THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS!
God demonstrated his love towards us in that while we were still sinners (broken), He sent His Son to live a perfect life, die for our sins, and arise from the grave to conquer death. God gives anyone the promise of a restored and unbroken relationship with Him if they will admit they are a sinner, believe Jesus is God’s Son who paid for their sins, and believe God raised Him from the dead.
